Please Help!! Skin/Acne issues Airbrush??

Future Mrs. Riley, on March 31, 2012 at 2:07 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6

So I dont have the most perfect skin in the world, which on a normal day Im ok with that. However, on my wedding day i want to feel confident.. Knowing that all eyes will be on me, I need to know they are not looking at my imperfections but at how beautiful I look. I have shoulder and back blemishes that I wish to cover not with make up because we all know what kind of mess that can create. So someone told me about paying to have airbrush done. It doesnt rub off and your skin looks fabulous.

Have any of you had this done or know someone who has? Or do you know any fixes for the acne/blemish issue? Thanks!

I have acne on my face right now & my wedding is next weekend. i called my photographer & asked him about photoshopping it out as well as prefered makeup artist who work with TV & film makeup... maybe ask yours for the same, these people know best & different makeups look different in natural light/flash from camera / real life.

    good luck <3

I have done plus-sized modeling for the last 12 years, and I have serious acne issues. When I am doing print jobs, I always have the make-up artist do airbrushed foundation and usually set it with a heavier transluscent (sp?) powder. If you hire a make-up artist from M-A-C, I can promise you they can fix just about any skin issue you've got for your wedding day, because they pull out all their little tricks that they don't pull out for everyday clients. Just make sure when you book your appointment that you go to the counter (don't call), explain to them it's for your wedding, and let them look at your skin so that they have an idea of what they're up against.

Ive never really had facial issue but my growth spurt winded me in the 4th grade so that stretched me out. I'm wearing an off shoulder wedding dress (where my stretch marks seem to be the worst). I did not want to look back and have to see those ruining my pictures. I did not stop thinking about it until I found an airbrush artist in my area. I would definetely recommend you doing that if you are worried about it. Great peace of mind, go for it!

I don't have the best skin and stress makes me break out so needless to say, I had breakouts during my wedding. I had a make up artist who did airbrush and you couldn't even tell! I was very happy with the results and that stuff does not come off easily!

Airbrush makeup is probably the best way to go. It's light and doesn't require a setting powder so it won't be cakey or heavy feeling. I prefer to use a water-based airbrush foundation as it remains more matte and less dewey.

For your back area, I would suggest also using airbush makeup. But I would go for the type used to cover tattoos as it will not come off with sweat, rain, heat, water, etc. It requires rubbing alcohol to remove it. It should NOT be used on the face because of the alcohol content.
