I just found out that you're suppose to introduce yourself on the site, my name is Sharon, recently engaged to a great guy name Stuart, I'm 43 and never in a million years thought that i would get married..lol never wanted to be, i went on a trip to New York and met this guy..lol and the rest is history, there are definitely cultural differences between us, I'm a southern girl from Louisiana, he is Jamaican and was raised in England...but we seem to just have that niche lol

Congratulations! I just turned 46 and am also a somewhat surprised bride. I met my FH last year after we had both given up hope of ever finding the "one". Life sure throws some twists in our plans sometimes!
