Hi! First of all, I love my dress. However, I’m so nervous about what color it will end up being. I ordered the Martina Liana 942 dress. The one in the boutique was beautiful so I ordered that exact one. The color is moscato/ivory. When I ordered it, I signed something stating that I acknowledge that the fabric is hand dyed and that the color may vary and didn’t think anything of it until I looked up the stock photo of the dress and it’s damn near pink. Here’s where y’all come in- do you think it’s just the awful lighting in the stock photo? Do you think it’s going to be okay? Basically, hold my hand and tell me it’s going to be okay. But also, give it to me straight (gently). BONUS POINTS if this is your dress and you can tell me what yours looks like. I called my consultant and she said shes never seen one that pink but this isn’t a commonly ordered dress in that boutique 🙏🏻. I added the skirt to add a fuller bridal look that I can take on/off whenever and I think that helps the color. I’ve added several pictures in different lightings. Gimme ya thoughts. Also, while we’re here, hair up or down? 😘

The dress is stunning! The lighting is definitely is what's making it look darker. I'd do hair up!

Your dress is stunning. Reminds me of mine.

i had the same concerns about my champagne/ivory dress that I ordered in May. I even had a panic about it on Monday and went back to the store asking to change to ivory/ivory. They didn't have my exact dress in ivory/ivory but almost an identical one. I put it on and felt like a bride. But then I put my champagne/ivory back on and felt like a GORGEOUS bride. I don't know how to explain it but the colour just made it more special somehow. The ivory was almost boring on it's own.
The lighting is everything. The reason I had my panic is because the photos I took on my phone in May were in an area of the store without good lighting and my dress looked almost brown. In natural lighting it's amazing. My wedding will be in natural lighting. I've actually since deleted all of my pictures because I know I will continue to stew about it.

Editing to add: I would do hair half/up. You have gorgeous long hair and I think still keeping the length but doing something a bit different would look beautiful.

You'll be fine, don't worry. Wear your hair up, keeping it soft to frame your face.

Your dress is absolutely beautiful! I think the stock photos looks a lot more blush because of the lightning used to photograph it and the contrast with the background. Looking at your pictures, it definitely looks more ivory/white.

If you don't mind, I am also interested in using an over skirt on my dress for a fuller look, but cannot seem to find one I like. However, I really like the over skirt you used! Is it possible to share the designer or bridal store where you purchased it? I'd really appreciate it! Thank you so much.

Thank you! It’s the Martina Liana Opera skirt in ivory. They also make one with subtle sparkle (which I would have LOVED) but it was $500 more expensive than the plain.
