Planning

Alisha, on June 28, 2019 at 12:02 PM Posted in Planning 0 8

I have been trying to fine the most reasonable wedding invitations but the problem is trying to find wedding invitations that I like at a reasonable price. I know that I am being very picking right now as to what I want. I am almost tempted to do it myself but I"m not sure if i truly want to do that. In order for me not to become frustrated, I have been leaving this part of my planning alone and when I am ready look again I will. In the meantime, I am preparing myself to do the next thing in wedding planning.

You have 13-14 months until your wedding. Not only is that plenty of time to find something, but I wouldn’t advise ordering invitations this early anyway. Timelines change, venues change, etc. You don’t want to have to reorder and pay again. In the meantime, I would check out Ann’s Bridal Bargains and Vistaprint, they both run sales frequently.

I found a free template online and just printed them myself on card stock so if you like that idea you can go with different designs see what you like most

You have plenty of time. And keep in mind doing them yourself may not actually save you any money when you factor in the cost of buying the paper, the ink used to print them, etc. Try Ann's Bridal Bargains - they were who we used and they were so affordable and the quality was amazing.

I'm going with Ann's Bridal Bargains. They have so many different styles to choose from, and many of their styles come in multiple colors, so you can pretty much get everything you want. We are still too early to order, but I have our design saved, and I'm just waiting for a little more time to go by, as well as one of their fabulous sales--those come several times during the year. I really hope you find what you are looking for. Other brides I've talked to have found theirs at Ann's, or Minted, Zazzle, even Shutterfly. You have plenty of time to look around and find what you want, or design what you envision.

You have plenty of time, I wouldn't really start thinking about it until the beginning of next year. I would recommend looking at Vistaprint. And sign up for their emails, they're always having a sale. Smiley laugh

Thank you ladies for your great advice because I am a long way out for my wedding and things do change all the time. You are right about me finding a template to do my invitations but it is the ink, the paper, the printing, the amount of money (I would have to weigh that option) and it is time consuming too. That is why I'm not sure about doing it myself but it is a thought. In the meantime I will keep looking until I decision what I'm going to do.

Yes you have plenty of time but if you are picky like me you don’t want to pick random expensive invites you don’t even like just because it’s time. I got a template on Etsy and had them printed on printrunner. That was the best way for me to get exactly what I wanted for the cheapest.
