Once I got all of my vendors booked around 5 months, I really didn't do much planning for a couple of months. 2 months out I started to really tackle the little details.

Hey! FH and I made a week by week (or you could do month by month) to do list. It really helped take pressure off, to realize that there was a lot of time to space things out, and many weeks where there were no wedding-related tasks. Some weeks had more to do. Some just said "relax, don't freak out".

All our vendors were picked by that time too. At 5 months, I started ordering invites, finalizing guest addresses, finishing our website & registry, starting a day of timeline, picking music, scheduling our dance lessons, buying decor, finalizing honeymoon details, etc. My MOH started ramping up plans for my bachelorette & my mother started planning my shower.

I am in the same boat. I feel like there's so much to do yet decor wise but this is the simpler task. Buying things can get done in like one or two days on a weekend I feel like to hit up craft store and hobby lobby, or here and there. I am working on makeup and hair trials now and getting the girls dresses ordered. Finalizing plans for our group bridal party trip. In July I will definitely start buying and creating any DIY decor. Def planning and deciding on honeymoon as well. To me this is the fun relaxing stuff!! I will start working with my brother on the design for the invites in July as well
