Planning early

I will plan most of it with my friends, my fiance is picking his groomsmen, getting the suit/tux I want, and showing up when I say. Other than that he doesn't care about anything. My wedding is also two years away. Congrats!

We’re getting married in March of 2023 and started early. The great thing about starting early is you can take breaks when the stress becomes too much. We went on a three week vacation and didn’t talk about the wedding almost at all. It was great. And then when we got back, I was excited to start looking vendors!

Congrats! My husband is a firefighter/medic & is the captain of his crew. Also does wild land assignments during the summer. His schedule keeps him extremely busy both on & off duty. That means the majority of the planning was done by me. Totally get the stressful situation you’re in!

Hello! I am getting married this October and did a two year engagement/planning process. I also am doing the majority of our wedding DIY. I highly recommend starting as early as you'd like. We are 95 days out now and are able to relax and enjoy all the big events leading up to our wedding day. I would be so stressed if I still had to worry about everything. Again, I highly recommend starting as early as possible when you're planning on DIY'ing everything yourself. Good-luck and have fun planning; Congratulations!
