You need to start lookin ASAP! dresses can take 4-6 months to get in :/ depending on the designer. You might have to get a dress off the rack if they stylist isnt able to expedite the dress. I hope you find your dream dress soon!

More than once I wish I would have waited to buy my dress until closer for 2 reasons. My first dress was purchased Feb 2019, and I picked it apart until I hated it. I got a new one in Sept and I have been sooo fearful I will decide I don't love it.

Second reason is that because I do love it still, I am DYING to wear it, and for FH to see it.

I would research some designers with quicker turnaround times just in case! My dress took 6 months to come in!

Are you planning to buy off the rack? That's probably your only safe bet with less than 3 months turn around time. There are stores that specialize in off the rack and discount/warehouse style sales so definitely see if there are any near you.

Wow! Very late in getting a dress. My wedding is 7/11/20, I ordered mine November 2019 and it will not be in until 3/25 and I still need to do alterations.

Go with off the rack boutiques! Just be open minded and it is definitely doable to find your dress in one weekend. I'm your exhibit A

At this point, you'd definitely have to get something off the rack, or a dress that is pretty non-traditional, like a dress that is not necessarily considered wedding garb.

Aaayyyeeee date sisters! Im in 2021, but I would get the dress asap. They can take months to come in, and theres alterations to think about.

I found my dress during my first appointment so there's hope! I know some designers have a quicker turn around than others if you don't plan on doing off the rack. I ordered my Essense of Australia dress on September 28th and it's set to ship February 3rd. I know there are options to get it expedited too. Don't stress too much!
