Ok wedding wire...me and my husband got married last month (9/3/19) we were gonna have our reception during the holiday season. Three weeks after we got married my husband’s grandmother passed away so we decided to put the reception on hold for next year. We were deciding whether we wanted to have the reception on Labor Day weekend or New Year’s Eve for next year? Which one is good?

I think it depends on what you want out of your reception. Obviously summer or winter is already a huge difference. I also think the level of hosting for a NYE reception should be higher. Not only because of the nature of the holiday, but because your guests are taking time from their friends and families to spend the evening with you.
