Planners & Coordinators

Dana, on October 11, 2017 at 3:16 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 3

My FH & I planning our wedding to be in Cooperstown, NY. We live in NJ & I'm considering a coordinator, at least DOC if not a partial planner, figuring they can help make arrangements/coordinate with vendors up there. Would be best to use someone from that area or someone local to me? I'm leaning towards the Upstate N.Y. since they'd be familiar with vendors up there, however if need to meet in person someone local to me seems better.

Definitely hire a DOC native to Cooperstown. Communication wise you can't beat modern technology. Use Skype or Face Time for your interviews and meetings when possible. My out of state couples and even busy local brides and grooms make the most of these apps. Best wishes!

Hi! I'm also getting married in Cooperstown and live out of state (MA). I'm curious to hear - did you hire a coordinator or did you just use the vendor's contact? (We're getting married at the Otesaga and haven't had the best communication with our contact there so I'm interested to see how it went for you!).
