Planned Wedding but Decided to Elope

Hi all.
I have always wanted to have a big wedding. My fiancé has not but he is okay with having one for me. We were supposed to be married in 2019, then 2020 and now 2021. We have most of our vendors booked. I am so over waiting and postponing. I’m contemplating cancelling everything to just elope. Has anybody done that? If so, what did you do? What did you tell people? My fiancé is okay with it, but he wants to make sure that it’s what I want. I just want to be husband and wife already.

Yea, it's just been a crappy last couple years. It sucks and it's not my dream wedding but any day standing next to the love of my life is a win for me. Money can always be made back. I mean yea, it's a lot but what can you do?? I told FH that we will definitely be doing a renewal at my dream venue at some point since we were forced to cancel our wedding there. I know some venues allow reception only so I hope it works out for you that you can still keep your date so you don't lose anything. Good luck
