Place Cards

Chelsea, on November 3, 2019 at 4:34 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 12
What is everyone doing for place/escort cards? I want to use these cards I found on Etsy, and attach them to our favors which are these Mickey Mouse head keys that are bottle openers. My concern is how difficult it will be for everyone to find them. I may also buy this table seating sign and then set them up by table number to make it easier? What do you think?

Most guests can easily find their own name in alphabetical order. That's what we plan to do with ours. I've never been to a wedding with both a seating chart and escort cards, but I imagine that would get confusing for guests.

I was originally going to only do the sign, but we need the cards so we can put everyone’s meal choice in a visible spot for the servers. Alphabetical is a great idea! I may just do that and nix the sign

Yes alphabetical order by last name is the easiest way to go

I love your Disney theme!!!! I'm a huge Disney fan and I think it's accidentally creeping into my wedding 🙈 I'm planning to buy a large mirror (probably on OfferUp) and use a wax stamp to attach sheets of paper with the table numbers on top and guests listed under. We'll be having a buffet so no need for place cards 💕

We are using place cards and laying them out in alphabetical ordered. Our wedding planner says this is the easiest way for people to find their cards/seats.

Adorable Disney theme! I'm hand making bookmarks as favor/place card. They'll have their names in the front and table number on the back. Arranging them alphabetically by last name is the way to go. I've been to a wedding that have done something similar and had no trouble finding my name. You can also assign the job of helping people find their names to maybe a pre-teen so they can be involve in your wedding

That bookmark idea is so cute! I love that! I also like the idea of including another person by having them help out

We had 125 guests and just organized them by table in the seating chart, everyone found their seats & tables easily. We had place cards at each setting too.

That’s what I was torn between, organizing by table number or alphabetic. I’m glad to know table number works also! Thank you!

I like the seating chart option. I just got mine for $3 off Etsy. Downloaded the template and printed them off so easy!
