Place cards

We did a seating chart, so we didn't use place cards.

For our seating chart, we used old antique windows and had each table, with this the guests names, listed in each pane.

I'm going to fold paper cranes and put a small name card in the wings.

For our escort cards, we are doing something similar to this:

We just did tented cards I printed the names on. We used them as escort cards, as we only assigned tables and not seats.

We have 3 corks, tied together with burlap ribbon, with a mini sand dollar glued to the front to hold their place cards.

We just got escort cards that were paper tent place cards. On the front, we're putting their name and table (since we're doing assigned tables rather than seats) then on the back we're including a fun fact about the movie their table is themed after. (Each table is designed after a different Disney movie). It's a fun conversation starter!

These are all such totally cute ideas! we are doing coffee flavoured shortbread biscuits. Like this, but with people's names (and first initial, if needed):

We're having our reception in a dinosaur/fossil exhibit, so our placecards are going to be ammonite fossils. I can't find any pictures of this, but it will work similar to the agate slice or polished stones some people do.

We combined our place cards and our menus into one personalized piece!! It was one of my favorite décor details from our wedding! 💖

I think you're confusing place cards with escort cards. A seating chart or escort cards tell people what table they are seated at. Place cards are on the tables to identify which specific seat belongs to which guest.

We're doing terracotta as one of our wedding colors so I wrote all of the guests' names onto small terracotta saucers for place cards.

We're doing these tented cards for our escort cards with their names and table numbers on the front. I want to theme the tables in a fun way with our favorite movies or shows but I haven't come up with anything yet lol. We're adding stickers to indicate their meal choice and any allergies.
