So the dinner the night before is technically not a rehearsal dinner. I am on a SUPER TIGHT BUGET...I am getting married in New Hope, PA (not close to my home to have a barbeque)...and all the restaurants were super expensive...So I am thinking of having a pizza party at the B&B we are staying at or...a Pasta Party...Any thoughts...Does it sound cheezy? My FH...likes the Pizza Party, however, I am thinking Pasta Party sounds better? UGH!! Would love ANY thoughts...

We are planning on doing our rehearsal dinner the evening before but since we will be at a hotel and have guest coming in on Friday as well we will be inviting everyone down for pizza, soda & snacks! We get are using a private party room at the hotel and may do a 'game night' theme since we have the room for a few hours. Any meals pre- wedding should be low key anyhow.

We did a pizza party of our rehearsal dinner (10 years ago..eek), we were on a tight budget as well. It was fun, low key and relaxed. Loved it and wouldn't change it.

Ok...Just had our "Italian" tasting last night, we are doing 4 nonna pizza's (thin crust, square in shape, so cool looking), 2 pasta dishes an antipasta salad, cookies and italian ice (lol)...The best part???

It is costing approx. 10-15 a person!! (This of course not including booze). But at least budget friendly!! And all the food was REALLY good!! So very excited!

In my opinion, the wishes of the bride and groom rule, for the rehearsal dinner. Your plans sound wonderful.

My daughters FMIL has planned a rehearsal dinner that will, SUCK! Oh, did I say that????????????? LOL!

FMIL is holding it at a "corporate" Mexican restaurant that cannot pass their health inspections...so our side of the fam plan to grab a bite before we arrive. Plus, his family will get trashed on Tequilla (read that cheap whiskey).....I sell wine for a living, yet I do not get trashed. UGH!!
