Has anyone done pizza at the reception or maybe have been to one where they had it? If so how did it turn out

My main concern would be keeping it warm so I'd look into the cost of warming lamps & things like that so the pizza doesn't get cold. And the cost of having plenty of options.

I've been to receptions where they had pizza as a late night snack near the end of the party but not for the actual dinner. It was definitely a hit at the end of the night! I would agree with the poster above that you'd need to figure out how to keep it warm and have plenty of options for people with dietary restrictions like gluten.

I did pizza at my wedding everyone loved it ..... my venue had warming ovens so it kept he pizza warm until use

I attended a wedding where this was done and it went over well. There were no issues with keeping food warm since it was delivered and set out right as people sat down to eat.
