So my wedding is going have a lot of non traditional things. Is it weird to have pizza for the reception ? There will be other foods of course. But I wanna get pizza too. The place we were going to go. They are on vacation... and they been on vacation for months....😬😬😬😬😬😬😬🤨 which I think they aren't...

Is pizza the main dish or a late night snack? Either option is fine and unless it’s super gourmet expensive, most people love pizza and prefer it over other options. I would serve it on its own though and have a variety of flavors.

That sounds awesome! You could also have a pasta dish and garlic bread.

Do you mean non pizza main dishes? Unless you have stations set up, it could get confusing. You can alleviate the confusion by having one station be a pizza buffet with Caesar salad and garlic bread and another station might be pans of fried rice and orange chicken delivered from your local favorite restaurant. Make menus for each seat listing the options. This is a common alternative to plated/buffet and guests go home stuffed.

My soon to be brother-in-law and his wife had pizza at their reception a couple of years ago. I say you do you, and if that means pizza, then people will either eat it or skip it. It's y'all's day, and if that's what you like I see no problem with it. Good luck, and congrats, and happy planning!
