Picture Frames

Hi! Quick question. If any of you are having framed signs at your reception, where are you buying them? Also, how big should I get them? I think 8x10, but I'm not good with measurements :/ I'll provide an example of the kind of sign I want. Thanks!

For my big signs I'm painting the old windows from my parents house. They just got their 30s era wood windows replaced and I had them saved. I'm painting the framed gold and using black chalkboard paint for the glass. You could probably find them cheap at a salvage place if you have one near you!

I hit up every thrift shop in town. Didn't focus on color just detail and size (wanted more ornate to fit with the antique vibe) and then spray painted them gold.

I also went the dollar tree route! I was originally going to look for nicer ones at thrift stores and then spray paint them but today I was just like, f - it. No time for that. ha ha

I got a couple at Michaels the week before last. 40-60 percent off sale, see if you can catch one of those.

Thrift stores always have tons of them. usually between $0.50-$5.00 depending on size.

4x6 is standard picture size. So 8 X 10 would be good

Goodwill often has frames that you can either spray paint or stain. Hobby Lobby and Michael's also have sales on frames often.
