Piano Processional - just the bride

Lori, on July 31, 2019 at 8:05 AM Posted in Planning 0 5
Hello! 109 days until my Nov. 17 wedding!!

This is my and FH’s second wedding. The ceremony and reception will be in same venue/room. We have a piano player who will play music as guests arrive and then a processional.

We are not having attendants. The processional is making me scratch my head because it would need to be so short! My first pick was “Joy” by George Winston. (https://youtu.be/PhfHUIASh0Q if you aren’t familiar).

Would the pianist just play a portion of it?

Yes, all you really need is a minute or less to get down the aisle.

They’ll probably only need 30 seconds depending on how short your aisle is. If you want a certain part played let them know so they can start later in the song. They’ll come to a stopping point when you get up there.

    Hey Lori Smiley smile

Yes, a short portion would be best if it will just be you walking down the aisle.

You could speak with the pianist and ask him/her to pick a part of the song to play for your walk that would give you enough time to walk.

Have you timed how long it will take you to walk down the aisle?
