My FH and I can not get on the same page about who to book and what style we want. I’ve showed him 4 different photographers two videographers. He doesn’t think they capture the real ness of the wedding but they capture the “perfect moments” he wants more home movie and unedited scenes and no one does that! Is that an odd request or can I find someone who will do just that? I understand what he wants I just don’t know how realistic his requests are.

I think what would be a good idea in this instance is to contact some of the videographers that you are interested in. Obviously, they portray their ‘best’ work in their showreels, which usually equates to the polished and beautifully edited wedding videos that we are accustomed to seeing. By contacting them directly, you can inquire about any other work they have done and ask if a ‘rougher’, and ‘less edited’ final video is possible for them to provide to you.
