Photography Timeline

I allotted 1.5 hours and in hindsight i super regret that aha i regret not allotting more time to account for how fast time went and just overall some issues that may take place. so i would allot at leastttttt 2 hours or more.

Talk to your photographer!! They'll know exactly how much time you need depending on how many pictures you've requested, the style of photography, and any specific shot lists you may have!

I think my total time for these pictures came out exactly around 2 hours like Melle suggested! It was about 30 minutes for first look & couples portraits, 30 min of wedding party pics, and 30 min of family portraits - but you absolutely need buffer time! No matter how crazy efficient to try to be with photos inevitably one person is always running a few minutes late, or someone in a group shot needs to run to the bathroom, or your veil or makeup needs fixing, or the photographer needs to test the lighting, etc.
