As you will be told it’s gonna depend on the area you’re in. For me I’ve been seeing $100 an hour for dj. And 2k for photography services

    I would say 1.5k - 3k... I’m paying 5k for photography and videography. And 3.5 k for a dj that includes a photobooth.

Thank you for replying. I spoke with a company photography was 1700 for 8 hrs and dj 1500 for 6 hrs. I wanted to make sure they were not over charging me.

It depends on your area and the package. We paid $2500 for 10 hours of photography and $950 for DJ services for 6 hours.

I paid $1750 for DJ and $4600 for photography in Carmel, CA. I would say DJ’s are typically $1k-$2k and photographers $2k-$3k in lower cost of living areas and $4k-$6k in higher cost of living areas.

We spent about $3600 on a photographer for 8 hrs. This was more then we wanted to spend but she did good quality work.

We haven’t gotten our dj yet but hoping to spend no more then $3000.

Lol I’m getting a lot in my package. It includes two videographers, drone footage, a photographer, a 5-10 min trailer, 45 min highlight, a full length feature film, a website where all the guests can view and download all the pictures and videos. They’ll be there for ten hours. The DJ is the for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. The guests get copies of their photo booth pictures and we can an album of all the photos they take. You can download the thumbtack app and you’ll find hundreds of photographers/videographers with much cheaper rates with samples and reviews.

Jersey!!! I'm getting married in Ocean Township. Our photographer is $5000. It's an average for a really good personal photographer. But you can find cheaper and they're still great. I've found the companies that have like DJ and photography packages are cheaper and they're still great. My friend used Elite. Everything turned out awesome. I just wanted something a little more "artsy" with the photography so I dropped the money on it. Our DJ is around $2200.

I just happened to pick one of the more expensive artists in the area. I found him and his team in thumbtack.

We are paying $1499 for our photographer (they arrive an hour before the ceremony and leave when we are satisfied) and we have my FH's former coworker (who co-runs a popular DJ company) as our DJ, so we were able to get a really good discount since they were buddies while working together.

5000 for photography (8 hours, 2 shooters, we received small discount for paying in full) and 5500 for videography (full day, 2 shooters). This is considered normal/average pricing for my area.

$1200 for photography and $1100 (I think) for DJ. We added a few hours for the DJ because he is providing us with ceremony music too. Originally it was $900 for my DJ.
