I have my photographer booked for 5 hours and don't know if I should have her photograph getting ready or just start a little before the ceremony?

I would! It is an emotional time where you are preparing your heart to get married especially if your bridesmaids/ mother figure is helping you get ready.

This is completely based on your personal preference.
Would it be important for you to have photos of getting ready? Is there a different part of the day you feel is more important for the photographer the capture, that you would otherwise have to forfeit?
