photographer under $2000?!

I am so frustrated. I had NO idea wedding cost as much as they do. The one thing I thought i could splurge on was the photographer. Thinking around 1500. Uh, no. All the photographers I've looked at START at 2500. And that's for the basic package which is only 4 hours. Does anyone have any...

I am so frustrated. I had NO idea wedding cost as much as they do. The one thing I thought i could splurge on was the photographer. Thinking around 1500. Uh, no. All the photographers I've looked at START at 2500. And that's for the basic package which is only 4 hours. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I can do?! And yes, I've looked at all the vendors in my area on here.

    That is about the same price in my area. Which I was expecting. Now let's talk about video, I got a quote for $5200!????? Ppl Are you high??? Or What??? I almost died.
