Hi all, sorry for the long post! Just needed to vent. So my FH and I hired our photographer a few months ago and I didn't love her personality (she's a little rude and bossy, and I wish she was a little sweeter- but I could live with it) We did the engagement pictures and I only liked about half of them but again, I could live with it. There was another photographer that got back to me at this point who I liked way better and was cheaper- but we had already put a deposit down on the first one so we decided to just keep her. Now three months away from the wedding, the venue dropped out and we had to completely re-plan the wedding- which included changing the date. I got a few available dates from our photographer, who wasn't too happy we were rescheduling it but went with it anyway. Long story short, we had to pick a date she was going to be out of town. We checked with the other photographer we liked and she was available, so we decided to cut our losses and go with her. When we told the original photographer we had to cancel the contract because she wasn't available on our date she freaked out- called us over and over again, texted us about 20 times telling us she would change her trip so we didn't have to cancel. Since then she will only talk with my fiance and leaves me on read every time I try to text her. A month later and she tells my fiance its a $250 rescheduling fee because she had to change her flight. We thought, okay, it's too stressful to get a new photographer anyway. But now with 2 months until the wedding, I reach out to her about the hair and makeup artist (in her package she says she will provide a hair and makeup artist for the bride). She of course doesn't respond to me but to my fiance and says she will only pay for $85 of hair and makeup and I can pay for the rest on my own, because her stylist in her hometown would do it for that much (on the other side of the country). This is not in the contract or her package, but she claims she mentioned it earlier (I don't remember that). At this point, with paying for most of my own hair and makeup, and having to pay her rescheduling fee, getting the other photographer would only be an extra $400- should I cut my losses and go with the other photographer or am I overreacting and should just deal with it?

She sounds like a bit of a nightmare. Have you and your fiancé had a sit down with her and discussed your displeasure and or issues because that would just not fly with me.
