Photographer help

This has been bugging me awhile. We had engagement photos taken in early December by our wedding photographer. I told him upfront we have problems with lighting us because I am very fair skinned and my fiancé is beautiful dark chocolate. When I went to do STD one picture said not to use as it wasn’t “sharp” or whatever warning. So we used a different one.

Recently I had a coupon for free 8x10 so I thought I’d blow up the std photographer. Looking at it, I feel it’s over lit a bit. I told him previously about the one that was not sharp and he suggested it waste vendor printing not him. My wedding is about 2 months away. How do I emphasize to him without coming off as bridezilla that he really needs to work on focus and lighting for us. We are okay in natural light but I’m paying for day and night. I don’t want backlash to be crappy photos.

I would nicely tell him but maybe could you do a contour or something with male up to help. Does the photographer do natural light?

I think you both look great! I'm not looking at the lighting, I'm looking at how happy you two look together!
