Photographer album vs. Shutterfly

I used shutterfly for my guest book and was not impressed with the quality, but I know there are other photo book services out there. I also got the standard quality book. I'm sure I'd paid more it would have been better. I might consider using it for parents to have wedding "albums" but I'm gonna shop around for something nicer for ours.

I couldn't afford my photographer's album. Beautifully done, but way out of my range.

We are looking at mpix.com Their prints and canvases are professional quality. I know professional photographers that use them for their websites and most of their printing. They have sales/coupons available on different products every week. This week was 25% off prints so we got additional copies of some of our engagement photos.

They have some beautiful premium books/albums. We will probably get them for our parents for Christmas. These aren't heirloom quality but they will do for our purposes.

You're right, EW. That's all it means. I thought me and GymRat got ours quickly, but I think may have put us both to shame.

There are other options besides shutterfly that look more professional! Look for other photobook options. 800 dollars sounds like a lot. We are getting 3 albums for that price!

Btw, I ordered a shutterfly photo book to use as a guestbook and I love it. If you can't spare that much you have options.
