Trying to decide if it would be worth it to have a photo booth at my reception.

Thanks for asking this lol. I'm in the same boat. I really want one and always think they look so cute and are an extra fun thing for the guests to do, but I just wonder if it's worth it.

They are such a fun idea! But I don’t want to waste the time or the money on it if guest are not going to be interested

I'm debating too.. I got a phone call from our DJ last might and he offered a photo booth for $500 for 3 hours for printed pictures and then you can use it the rest of the night and text the pictures to you. I'm not sure of thats a good deal. Anybody know??

I did it and it was a blast. I personally love photobooths though. But it is quite a bit of money if it's not in your budget

We had one and everyone loved it. We got some of the best pictures of everyone from it. We DIY'd ours and it costs about $50 but there are a lot of rentals for them as well.

If it is within your budget, I say yes! We had one at our wedding and it was so fun! We love looking back at all of our guests photo booth strips!

We're having one! I always love photobooths at weddings so it was a must for me! We ended up getting ours for free, though. We booked our photographer & videographer package in early 2019 and any 2020 brides that booked their package during that sale got a free photobooth!

Ask your photographer if they can do a photo station with props. Ours offered as part of our package.

We are doing it and using it as our favors and our guest book. I am really excited about it so I say if you can do it I would go for it.

That is a good price. I've seen them go as high as $1,000.

I paid $900 for mine, but I have the Magic Mirror kind.

We decided not to, I would rather have an open bar and our venue is smaller so I don't know where I would put it. They are fun though if you have the extra money and space Smiley smile

We have one for our big day! i’ve been to wedding with and without though. it’s a fun way for guests to get photos and have fun! plus we get copies on a thumb drive of every photo that was taken so it will be fun to look back and have all of these!
