pew bows

We'llAlwaysHaveParis, on April 1, 2013 at 2:10 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 11

FH and I are getting married in a pretty big church. I'd like to only put bows on the first 6 or 8 pews on both sides of the main aisle since that's as much space as our guests will use anyway.

I think my other option is to put bows on every other row for maybe 10 rows on each side. I don't even want to think about the cost of putting pew bows down each side of the aisle, the entire way.

Thoughts?

I like the idea of putting bows on every other pew. I think it'll look really nice

We did pew decor on the first four pews on each side, and then the last two. It worked well! Smiley smile Every other row would be beautiful too, and you can DIY them.

We put three bows on each side every other pew and it was fine. I guess, because honestly I never noticed them or saw them at all. Unless you're using it to reserve rows or need the decoration I would skip it.

I bought my pew bows from Hobby Lobby. They were having a 30% off sale on all wedding stuff. Originally they are $5.99 a piece at Hobby Lobby. Hope that helps you price them out. I also only got 6 of them and I will be skipping every other pew.

We thought about this too. Went to the church and only the first pew has enough top to put something around. So it will be skipped.

    They are easy to make.

Bows are pretty easy to make. You just need wire and ribbon. Can you just google it and make them yourselves?

I got my pew bows from oriental trading.com for a great price. I am doing the every other pew as well. Good luck in your search and keeping the budget down.

My church is much larger than your and our florist does our church weddings all the time. He said 10 total and spaced out on each side would be fine.
