Petticoat / slip over your shapers?

April, on March 7, 2020 at 7:19 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4
Ladies are you wearing a petticoat / slip over your shapers?

I have a sheath dress with 3 layers and a shaper. But not sure if I need a skirt petticoat/slip? Im not a dress girl so I don't know the rules.

You should really only need a petticoat if you need to add more fullness or shape to your dress. Since it's a sheath gown, that's unlikely. If the fabric is clingy a slip could help it from going between your legs when you walk. Amazon has inexpensive options that you could try on with your dress and return if you don't find them necessary.

    Hi April,
From your description, it doesn't seem like you would need to wear a slip, I'm not with my dress!Petticoat / slip over your shapers? 1

Hey there, April! I agree with Caytlyn! You could always buy one to try and return if you don't feel you need it Smiley smile

I tried an A-like slip with my sheath gown and while it looks ok I’d like something in between.
I found this slip on Etsy and am hoping it gives me just a little bit of oomf! But not too much
