@ Crystal is there a reason Why you want from Things Remembered? That store is so expensive.

@ Soon 2 b Mrs. R... can I be honest... I think napkins are a waste of money, they never all get used and you will go home with boxes of napkins. If you MUST get them, buy a small order... like 50. No one will really notice them... they just go in the garbage... save the money for a pedicure!

I disagree with the napkins, if you have the room in your budget you can get them semi cheap and they are a nice touch. Sure they go in the trash quickly but I like them if you can afford the small budget addition.

I originally wanted my flutes and knife set from Things Remembered, however when I lost my job, I decided to save money and I got my knife set and flutes from Orietal trading. Another reason is b/c I don't have to worry, if anything gets broken or lost I won't be out a lot of money or so upset.

I got my MOH Tote bag from Vistaprint.

Oh most definitely I must have my cake knife, server, and toasting glasses engraved. The napkins and the glasses actually come personalized in my package. But I love to match things so to go with my black and white damask I ordered a personalized set from Oriental Trading (wink to Dianne D) I absolutely love them heres a picture its hard to see the engraving on the picture but its there on the server and the glasses

I got my favors from OrientalTrading.com. The toasting/Server set we opted not to do engraving b/c of the cost, so I was able to find an entire set for like $25-$30, we were still able to add our own touch b/c the base of them both is fillable so we filled them up with pearls and added a purple bow around it....and there ya have it.

I agree with Haley if you absolutley must have personalized napkins, get a small amount of them or find a place that won't charge you an arm/leg for them.

I love Things Remembered. I almost got my toasting flutes there but fell in love with the Darling Point ones from Kate Spade. As far as personlized items I am having a candy buffett. I ordered chinesse takeout boxes and had labels made in our colors with our names on it from MagnetStreet. Since my last name will be "Swan" I ordered hersey kisses from The Knot with the personalized swan labels on the bottom for one of the candy. The others stuff I used to personalize the wedding were more personal touches rather than items that have our names on it

I will tell you, as someone who was married several years ago, and had a daughter get married last year, skip a lot of the personalized stuff.

In all reality, you will probably never use a cake server again. Toast flutes that are personalized can be fine, but then again, you will outgrow them quickly.

The napkins can be fun, but realize they will be tossed. It is a fun touch, if you have the extra dough.

Do not do favors with your name on them (unless they are edible). No one will care about the item with your info on it. Waste of money.

I guess I should clarify the boxes are for the candy for the candy bar. Otherwise I totally agree with Kathy about not putting your names on favors!

The personalized napkins are super cheap you can get 100 for $15.99 and I think other ladies posted some cheaper

I got personalized dinner napkin from efavormart.com; 100 for 21.99. They come in different sizes and I got the biggest ones. I think beverage and lunch are the other 2 sizes.
