Personalized Christmas Ornaments for Favors

Private User, on February 22, 2011 at 8:05 PM Posted in Planning 0 6

I'm looking to see where I can order personalized wedding ornaments for our favors. I looked at http://www.weddingfavor.info/ornies.html and emailed them but haven't heard back. We were going to make them but, my fear is there's a lot of room for error. Any and all advice is appreciated!

    Try looking at Cafepress.com

They have some Christmas ornaments (not sure about pricing) that you can custom design -- you can even put pictures on them.

That sounds like a fantastic idea for favors.

If you are crafty, you can make them yourself. I have seen them with a special pen where they would just write something special on them.

    Good luck!

That's a really cute idea! I haven't heard of that before. I agree with you, there's a LOT of room for error in making them yourself. Who needs that stress?! Another option might be looking on etsy.com. After a quick search of "personalized ornament," I found a TON of options for as cheap as $1.25 each. Compared to the prices on the site you linked, you might be able to save a lot of money if you find something there you like (plus, many etsy sellers offer discounts to people ordering large quantities of their products). You can also submit an alchemy request on etsy to explain exactly what you want and how much you want to spend...then the sellers will come to you!

I found a GREAT site, but I'm thinking of only doing one ornament or favor per couple or one for each single guest...Thoughts?

If a majority of your guests live out of town, they say anywhere between 8 months to a year beforehand. I plan on sending ours out probably around 8 months before the wedding because we have quite a few people out of town. It's so they can make arrangements, especially since our wedding is in September, shortly after labor day and my dad's side of the family usually plans a huge vacation around then. I want to give them enough time to plan for it.

My wedding is December 17, 2011 and I'm using http://www.weddingfavor.info. They have been amazingly helpful and friendly. You can create your own design or they can create one for you free of charge. I highly recommend their site for weddings, fund-raising, businesses, or just for holiday gifts. My ornaments are beautiful and will be the perfect added touch to my special day. Beth-if you haven't already, I would give them a call. I spoke with Susan in their customer service department the other day and she couldn't have been more helpful. Their communication is great and they will email you a quote with mock up designs before you are charged anything. Plus, they ship SUPER fast! The boxes the ornaments come in are also really nice. Since I'm having a destination wedding, this was a huge added bonus for me because now I won't have to worry about the ornaments getting damaged going to or from the wedding. Hope this helps!
