Does the price you ladies have quoted include the rental of the venue and linens or is it only for the food and drink? I was not sure if when I see $50/head that is for food only or if that is the total cost of the venue and food divided by the number of people you have coming. Help please! Many...

Some venues even include limos. As Meghan said, everything is negotiable. Having had an inclusive venue at my first wedding, in 1982, I can tell you, all we had to do was show up and smile. Our wedding in Vermont will be a lot of work. Smiley smile

We are paying nothing to use the B&B's keeping room, kitchen and buffet area for ceremony and reception. However, the entire B&B will be booked with our guests. The owners, are friends, and are comping our room. They are also providing the basic ivory linens for each table, and the floor length linens for the buffet area. We will be purchasing fitted linens for the sweetheart table, appie table and DJ table. We have already purchased our runners and napkins. We are bringing in our caterer and renting china/flatware. It will be $36.00 a person, that does not include any alcohol or beverages. We are doing our own bar. Our cake is $5.00 per person. By the time we add in the bar and cake, it will probably come to around $50 per person.

Yep it depends on the venue. My venue is chair covers, silverware, glasses, centerpieces, food, alcohol, ect. For 24.95 a head. That includes everything. Also keep in mind that for a friday night or Saturday afternoon is going to be cheaper then a Saturday night. Saturday night weddings are more popular so at our venue it would of been 39.95 each which is not bad but we so saved a ton of money with going with the afternoon!
