Perks of having a bouncy castle on wedding reception

Jade, on October 31, 2019 at 9:38 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 7
My husband and I have always love to have fun and try different things and activities. So for our upcoming wedding, we want to have an after-party that will give a unique sense of fun for all our guests – adults or kids. Considering that, my sister told me to check the offers of this bouncy castle hire Newcastle company. When my husband and I did so, the bouncy castles are the ones that really caught our attention. But is getting one for our wedding a good idea? If yes, why?

That's such a great idea!! I think it depends on your crowd, but sometimes even adults like to have fun! I remember seeing some article on white bounce houses specifically for weddings and I thought it was so cool but never looked into it. I say you should go for it! A castle would be really awesome, especially if you have a princess theme going on.

My fiancé’s brother had a bouncy house at his wedding. I think mainly the kids used it (I wasn’t with my fiancé at the time of the wedding)

Now my fiancé’s nephew thinks all wedding have a bouncy house. He asked us what kind we were having it 🤣

I think it’s a great idea if you have the space.

Sounds like fun, and a great way to entertain the younger (and drown up) kids! Lol. My only concern would be insurance/liability (booo I know), but just be sure to look into that as well

The perks of a bouncy castle at a wedding:

    1. Once people have a few drinks they will REALLY be into it
    2. Folks will never stop talking about that cool wedding they went to that had a bouncy house
    3. It's something kids and adults can both do, plus - you and your new husband will get to bounce, too! Think of how amazing your dress will look - I'm picturing some great photo ops.
    4. I will want to go to your wedding. Smiley tongue

The drawbacks of a bouncy house at a wedding:

    1. Once people have a few drinks they might puke in the bouncy house
    2. Kids might get hurt by adults who have had a few drinks and don't notice the kids
    3. If anyone is over a certain age they may not get to partake.
    4. Someone will need to keep an eye on the little ones so that person won't get to enjoy the festivities as much. You may need to hire an extra person to do that.

Sounds like fun and if it's something You Guys want and if it's something you think your friends would enjoy, too, then you should totally do it. Smiley laugh

For an after-party, yes love the idea! For the actual reception, no so much.

But, drunk people need to take care.
