Is this okay? I dont want to sound like a zilla but some people have asked if they can just skip the ceremony and come for the reception? I feel like if I am paying for dinner, etc than they can at least come to to actual important part...am I wrong? Even my FILs say we need to put lines on the...

Is this okay? I dont want to sound like a zilla but some people have asked if they can just skip the ceremony and come for the reception? I feel like if I am paying for dinner, etc than they can at least come to to actual important part...am I wrong?

Even my FILs say we need to put lines on the RSVPs for "attending both" and "attending only reception"...should I do this?

I know the wedding is on a Friday, but it starts at 4pm. And I want to be mad at this because I have dreamed of this day forever and would really like for people to come to the whole thing...not just treat it like something they have to go to and only come for the food. What are your thoughts? Am I crazy on this? Maybe I just don't see their point of view. Help please..

Thank you all. I can understand both sides now. After reading comments and talking to FH, I think that for those that do have to work I get that and have no problem. We did choose a weird time for a wedding and thats what we get for it. I feel better about the issue and I think that if work is not why people would miss and they dont want to come to the ceremony, then fine. If they dont want to be there, I dont think I want to make them be there. It would be better if I know only the people who want to come will be there.

Thank you again, now I get to edit my rsvp's and get them ordered asap! Be looking for a post about that if you would like to help me Smiley smile
