Past Brides and Future - Wedding Shoe (Jimmy Choos) help!!!

Nikki, on October 19, 2016 at 3:12 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 41

Hi ladies!!! So I picked my dress!!!!! Now onto the other fun stuff, the shoes! Now I don't splurge on shoes at all, never have owned designer shoes, but I have heard Jimmy Choos are the most comfortable so I was thinking of getting a pair for my wedding, bc well, it's my wedding! Attached is the dress and attached are the shoes I'm debating - same shoes, just different colors. Now a side note - my bridesmaids are wearing sage/mint green, groomsmen are wearing gray suits and our accent color (flowers, etc) is blush pink. I think both colors would look good bc of the pink accent color, but also the silver is just classic. Please input what color you like better, plus any advice on Jimmy Choos heels if you've worn them before at your wedding or are going to or have owed Jimmy Choos!

Thanks ladies!!!!

I have no experience with Jimmy Choos, but those pink ones are gorgeous!

I love the pink ones! I can't help with Jimmy Choos...I literally bought $15 pair of lace flats to wear since you couldn't see my shoes the whole night.

My shoes are Jimmy Choo... I have never heard of them being the MOST comfortable but if you try them on in the store you can get a feel for them. There was on pair the saleswoman recommended to me that she swore wore comfortable. I didn't end up getting them I got a paid I had my heart set on.

@Bailey I understand what you're saying, but I really don't care. It's totally fine that that's what you want and it's totally fine that this is what I want. I didn't ask if I SHOULD buy them. I was wanting to get opinions on WHICH color shoe is prettier. It's not so much what people see, it's more about this is my special day and whatever makes you feel good and look good, you should do it. Like I said, I never buy shoes this much EVER, but if I ever will, this will be the only time I will feel "okay" and not feel (or shouldn't feel) judged. I feel the same way about my undergarments - I'm not going to be wearing granny panties under my wedding dress just because people can't see them.

On that note, I'm sure your $20 flats and $15 heels were absolutely beautiful, even though no one saw them, I'm glad that that's what worked out for YOU, as long as you were happy.

There is no way in hell I'd pay the money it costs to buy JC's.

And this, my friends, is part of why 'weddings are so expensive'.

For everyone commenting that JC's are too expensive - while I agree with you, please refrain from commenting on this thread unless you actually have advice on JC's or a vote on which color you like best. That is ALL I would like. Any other opinions are not welcomed.

    Thanks!

I love them both. But if it were me, I'd buy the silver ones because I would wear those more after the wedding.

I actually prefer the silver pair, I think you would get more use out of those. The pink are cute, but I personally couldn't see myself wearing those again.

I like the silver. However, I doubt they're the most comfortable

I love the pink! My Jimmy Choo's (Anouk) were insanely uncomfortable and took a while to break it. They are fine now but I prefer Christian Louboutin (at least the style I own). Maybe try getting them stretched or walk around with them wearing heavy socks a few weeks before the wedding.
