Pashminas

SoontobeJB, on August 5, 2015 at 10:19 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 13

I was originally planning on crocheting a shrug type thing for my girls but now that it's getting closer I don't know if I will have the time and I'm having trouble finding the colors I want in the yarn that I prefer to use plus i'm having trouble finding pretty brooches to hold them in place so i'm thinking of just getting pashminas instead. The 3 girls will be wearing Plum and we only have my brother who is walking me down and the groom and bestman wearing Gray. What color Pashmina's should I get??? The girls dresses may not all be the same shade of plum because they didn't get them at the same store. Gray, black, silver? Also where did you get your Pashmina's?

I got mine at Macy's on super sale and went with ivory. I think the color you choose depends on everything else at the event.

I kind of like the idea of white to go with your dress?

My bridesmaids wore dark blue and the groom and all the groomsmen wore grey tuxes. I got my bridesmaids grey pashminas. I bought them at kohl's on sale for $10 each. I had originally ordered some off Amazon that were a little cheaper but they were very bad quality so I returned them. I think grey would look nice with the plum.

    I thought so too.

They sell scarves for hair covering, but I use mine for both covering my hair and also just as shawls/scarves. Smiley laugh They have a beautiful pashmina called the Lakeshore Bliss that is patterned, soft and awesome.

    Happy shopping! Smiley smile

I think the photo above with the white pashminas matching the wedding dress is lovely. Also, that way you don't need to worry about trying to match specific shades of gray (or plum).

Grey might look really good with them.

I got our pashminas at https://www.etsy.com/shop/WeddingWraps

I ended up getting an ivory one for me at Target last minute.
