Party Bus for family and wedding Party Complications!

Martha, on June 14, 2019 at 8:03 PM Posted in Planning 0 9

After our wedding ceremony we got a party bus coming to pick us up to transport us from church to photo location and then to the reception venue. Were arriving at church by Uber. My big dilemma is where should we store our over night bags since most of, if not all our family and wedding party are going and are not gonna have cars. Do we leave them at the restroom in church? or have somebody not going on the party bus get the bags of all the wedding party like two days before the wedding? or should we get one of the hotel rooms for two nights and just drop off the bags in that room since were planning on getting a hotel block for most our family and friends the night of the wedding.

Some hotels will allow you to bring your luggage early and store it for you before check in.
Check to see if your hotel does this, how much it might cost, and send someone over the morning of.
Or collect bags, leave them in a vehicle at the hotel the morning of.

We were able to enlist some wedding party spouses (that we are suuuper close to and had been in their wedding and helped similarly) to collect everyone’s bags and drop off at the hotel.

Daughter and SIL were going to want their car at the hotel the morning after the wedding (but wouldn't be driving themselves anywhere the day of the wedding). FOB followed G to the hotel early the morning of the wedding, where G left his car, with their overnight bags in the trunk. When B&G arrived at the hotel after the wedding, they had their car keys and could get their bags before checking in.

We might have some wedding party spouses who might be able to do this so i will keep this in mind.

    Thank you!

My fiance really liked this idea so he might just go early morning day of and just get an uber back home.

Most hotels you can drop bags off at front desk early. My fiancé and I are getting a Airbnb for the night before and after the wedding.

Great! It worked well for our B&G. (Also, as a surprise, I packed a bag of snacks they love and had FOB put it into the trunk with their overnight bags. I expected our daughter would be too excited/busy to eat much during the reception, and would be STARVING by the time they got to the hotel around midnight. They enjoyed them!)
