Parents Attire

View Quoted Comment I had a similar thought when it came to the moms attire. No preference at all on what they wore. My husband's mom asked us about what color we wanted her to wear, and we told her to pick out whatever color she wanted. I had no discussion with my mom about what color she would wear (and she didn't ask), she ended up picking our her own attire.

I’m letting my parents pick their outfits, my mom wants me to pick a color for her, but otherwise I’m leaving it up to them!

View Quoted Comment You are right there no wrong answer to parents attire. It is interesting to hear everyone’s opinions bc everyone has different ideas on how to determine parents attire. For me, I gave my dad the option bc I kinda knew he may not want to match the groomsmen. Giving him the option made it easier and it worked out. It does take the stress off a little.

View Quoted Comment Probably a plum purple, she’s blonde and has green eyes so I think that would look really good on her. I’ve got my MIL in a wisteria purple that I think looks really nice with her complexion, dark hair and blue eyes!

View Quoted Comment Ooh, wisteria is a pretty color! I was a bridesmaid in a wedding once where the bride chose wisteria for the bridesmaids to wear, it all looked so pretty. Plum is stunning too - such a classy color to wear. I really like how you were intentional about choosing colors that would look good on each person!

View Quoted Comment It did take a lot of stress off of me. I try to as much stress off of me as possible. We are wedding planning, you have to try to keep it simple and stress as much as possible.
