Parent gifts

I got my mom a print of a bride and mother with a personalized quote from a book she always read to me as a kid. “I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, as long as I’m living your baby I’ll be”. From Etsy! My dad we got a coffee mug of one of his favorite shows (hes hard to shop for but loves it!). My mil we got a frame (also from etsy) in our wedding color that says “thank you for raising the man of my dreams” which now has a picture in it from the wedding! And wrote everyone a personalized card with their gift

We paid for the majority of daughter and SIL's wedding. They got us some small gifts, but what truly made me the happiest were the very sweet and personal cards they each wrote to each of us. I was especially touched by my SIL's. He and daughter started dating when they were 15, so he'd been part of our lives for 8 years at the time of the wedding. He doesn't have the greatest relationships with his own family, so the very personal and sweet things he wrote about what I mean to him was the greatest gift he could have possibly given me. I will treasure those cards for the rest of my life. It would not be possible for them to buy me anything that would mean more.

I've been trying to think of a parent gift idea that involves one of their wedding photos. I don't know exactly what yet lol, maybe trying to do a side by side of theirs with ours, or just "update" one of theirs and place it into a new frame. Wish I had the exact answer, but that's an idea I've been marinating. Oh and btw, MOB So Cal always has the best answers - ugh a note would be precious!! Good luck!
