Pantyhose, thigh-highs, or bare legs?!

What are my fellow brides wearing? I'm already stressed about the torture chambers that my feet will be in, but they match my dress PERFECTLY, so I will suffer for a little while to look good! Full pantyhose are like leg jail. Not sure how comfortable thigh-highs w/a garter belt will be either, but...

Full pantyhose are like leg jail.

Not sure how comfortable thigh-highs w/a garter belt will be either, but going bare may not be the best because the shoes will probably give me blisters.

Thoughts/Opinions?

Start wearing them around the house like Maltese said!

Another trick I've never tried is wear them and take a hairdryer to them while you are in them. The heat will help it mold to your feet!

I second moleskin for those shoes, I haven't used it yet, but similar products. I'm a wimp when it comes to heels and stuff like this is magic Smiley smile

Any kind of Dr. Scholls insoles also make all the difference. For example, I can't wear Chucks for too long since they have zero support, but with insoles, I can wear them all day. I mean something like this: http://www.drscholls.com/productsandbrands/products/dreamwalkhighheelinsoles/index.aspx

Definitely bare leg. I don't wear pantyhose except to work and church in the winter time lol. I have already started breaking my shoes in. Make sure you break them in, I just wear them around the house as I'm doing chores and making dinner. Be sure to pack some bandaids. I highly recommend this: http://www.drscholls.com/productsandbrands/Products/rubreliefstrips/index.aspx I have put it on the backs of many pairs of heels and it works like a charm! In a pinch, you can also roll deodorant over the hot spots and it will decrease the friction between your skin and shoes.

I'm wearing a ball gown in July..... There is no way I'm adding an extra layer! I hear you ladies about the chub rub though... I have this stuff called Honey Dust...it's by a company call Karma Sutra... A little saucy I know... But it really works! The main ingredient is corn starch, so if you are in a pinch you could dust a little of that where the friction might happen. I've also used and antiperspirant stick in a pinch too...

I wore the shoes this morning while I vacuumed and did a couple loads of laundry! I mean, who doesn't wear 4" platform heels to do their house chores in?! lol. They weren't as bad as I thought, but they did cut into my feet a little bit, so I think I'll try the moleskin and I'll wear them again later today for a little while. Thanks everyone!

None for me, it's going to be 30C on Saturday here in Winnipeg. I bought Body Glide to stop my thighs from rubbing but that's it.

Haha! Since I bought my heels, I wear them at least once a month to stretch them out. Usually I just watch TV in mine. Smiley tongue
