Pantyhose + Shapewear... Awkward

So I don't know if I'm just dumb, but I can't figure out how you'd do pantyhose + shapewear. My dress comes down over my hips a little bit, so once the shaper and dress is on that is not coming off - That's why I got the Spanx with the...uhh crotch opening? That doesn't sound great. Lol

Anyway, the "modified Spanx" helps if I need to pee, but then how do you put on hose?? Those would sit on hips as well... Am I going to have to get my bridesmaids to help strip me naked if I needed to pee? 😂 I feel like I'm missing something.
