Outdoor Wedding May 7 - obsessing about the forecast in 3, 2, 1.....

Yes, we have a fall back location, and a plan for when and how we will call it for rain, if we have to, but it is of course not our first choice. Yes! We're a year away and I've looked at weather related reports for the last few years and have been tracking the weather like crazy. It's obviously and entirely possible that next year things could go further off path weather wise so this paranoia would be for nothing. We do have a plan B but we picked this venue primarily for our Plan A so it's definitely a concern. It's the only concern FH has about the day!

Way to early to stress even though I did the same thing!! You really won't get a clear picture until a day or two before no matter what it says right now. Mine changed drastically daily. And it ended up changing that morning and we had beautiful weather instead of forecasted rain!!!

Well, now that you have provided this accuweather link, I guess my weather angst might start on Thursday. :-) I usually don't really believe the weather forecast until within 24 hours but that won't stop me from looking. In fact, I bought a farmer's almanac back in September or October, whenever it came out.

I know it won't help to worry about it, and I don't have to make a decision until the morning of the wedding, but I really hope it can be outside.

Even if it rains on your wedding day...it might clear up by the time of the actual ceremony. Don't worry about things you can't control. Just make sure you have a solid backup plan.
