Outdoor Wedding in early September in Texas - Too Hot???

I wish i lived down there where it stays warm so late in the yr!..I would have a November or Dec wedding...outside!

I'm in Fla. and schedule most of my weddings for shortly before sunset -- of course, we do have the benefit of a sea breeze most evenings.

I got married here in Oct. Had the ceremony outside & reception inside at the same venue.

@Sunshine - haha its not just warm... its HOT! You sweat buckets, get heat stroke, etc. That is what I DONT want!

@Nancy - have you ever done a morning wedding before?

I have done morning ceremonies. But here, you'd have to start very early to avoid heat. And once the sun is overhead, you don't get as nice of photos (stark shadows, harsh light). I prefer sunset's golden glow.

Wow...now I'm worried because we are getting married in August in Dallas and It's outside in the evening time. Now I'm thinking about inside after reading this

We are having a September 28th wedding in TEXAS our ceremony is out doors at 4pm (20 minutes max) and our reception in in a covered barn area it lots of room and its not to hot because they way and where they built it.
