Hello .....i am getting married April 18th 2020. At first i just wanted something simple and then i looked at dresses and due to the Keto diet that i am doing i found a beautiful dress that in order to pay for it we pushed our wedding back 2 months ..we were going to have it at A small chapel because it was in February now with it in April my friend has offered us some land in her yard to do the wedding and the reception...MY ? Is...the weather in April is always iffy. As much as i would love to save money how would i do a back up plan just in case.

I would price everything out before you decide. A lot of times doing it on someone’s land is a lot more expensive than a venue because you have to rent every little thing that a traditional venue would already have. You would also need a tent in case of bad weather which can be pricy.

Hey Melissa!! Congratulations on finding your dream dress! That is just wonderful news!
It’s so kind of your friend to offer you an area to have your wedding on. As the pps mentioned, it is definitely a good idea to price out how much a tent, outdoor heaters, rentals, etc will cost before you commit to taking your friend up on this offer.
