FINALY !!! 2023 is just hours away and I;.ll finally be able to stop saying "next year" when asked when we are getting married. 4 months, 6 days ....... WOO HOO.

    3rd time for me too😊. For our ceremony portion we are doing a hand fasting ceremony (fiancé is Buddhist) as well as asking for the four corners and four elements for their blessings. (A little pagan) My God Mother will be performing and leading the blessings from the four corners and elements. Our color palette is more of the moody colors and deep jewel tones. I wanna say it’s kinda gothic chic look. I will not be wearing a white bridal dress. I’m looking into purchasing a black or burgundy dress.

    Helllllo Pat!!! I am a seamstress as well and really put in some deep thought on it in the beginning 😂 I said you know what I’m going to save myself the trouble and go traditional by buying a dress. Then part of me said but I want it made how I want it. Sooo my husband said well make it honey 😲. So I went for it, our wedding is on the beach so it’s definitely not going to be heavy material that retains water but material that can get wet. It’s similar to a mermaid tale dress due to the theme and the occasion. I have a few fabrics in mind just not exactly sure which route I’m taking but I have a month to decide.
