Original Wedding Day Party

Why don't you just make it an engagement party if you haven't already had one yet? Or why not just do a mini wedding and then do the vow renewal next year? Tell me the two engagement parties I've been to they looked almost like a wedding and it's there to celebrate the couple.

Not quite what you're asking for, but my SIL and her fiance had to postpone their June wedding to next year. They made the day about spending time with just each other. A lot of people sent them gifts. We sent them an e-gift card to 1 of their favorite local restaurants (we live about 7 hours away). A few people sent them cakes/wine, etc. So that's another route to take-make it a date day/night for just the 2 of you. As far as group activities....I would just have the party. Maybe you can wear 1 of those cheap party-store veils or something? Does your wedding have a specific theme? Maybe any decorations you have can be in your wedding colors.

Maybe you can have a small cake still ?

We celebrated with a small cake and champagne in our glasses that had our original date on it! We also made a nice steak dinner and had a nice day together ☺️

Do you have a backyard? How about to decorating it and make a little dinner?
