Oregon Photographer Help!

Hello! We have talked to a couple of photographers that we really like. One is slightly outside our comfort zone for budget, and the other (who was very inside!) got booked for our date right after we talked to her and is no longer available. I’m having a slight panic right now because I’m having trouble finding someone we like who is not going to charge $5000 for the package that we want. We don’t want to skimp on photos, and we do need the full 8 hours because of our venue. Who did you guys use for your photographer? Can you all give me recommendations?

    I’m really sorry to hear the other photographer got booked up, Kimber.

    Have you utilized the weddingWire vendor directory as part of your search? What’s great about the tool is that you can filter by price, service, etc and check out example of their work on their profile.

    I’ve started a search for you, however, you can change the location on the page if you wish - Portland Wedding Photographers.

    On the different photographers profiles you can also read previous couple reviews which are so helpful.

    Do you plan on hiring a videographer also?

    Thank you! I did go and start a search there as soon as I made this post. I found a few photographers that I reached out to and have heard back from all of them by now with their price guide and to schedule a chat. So now I feel much better!

    We aren’t going to hire a videographer. We do want to do an engagement session with our photographer though. We don’t take a lot of pictures, so we definitely need some for our website (and just to have!).

    Thank you! We actually just booked a photographer whom we really like and are going to have an engagement shoot in a couple of weeks!

    ps, we are getting married at about the same time as you next year! I’m so excited!
