Ordering wedding dress size down?

So I’m curious, has anyone actually ordered their dress a size down? I’m currently working on becoming healthier and I’m concerned my dress size may be totally wrong. I’ve lost about 20 pounds so far, however my “goal” is to lose around 50 more. If I order my dress to my current size, how will it go...

I’m worried the dress won’t look right or I’ll send hundreds to get it altered.

DO NOT order a size down! Don't put that pressure on yourself! I ordered the dress size the salon gave me and my dress still came in tight. I have since lost a bunch of weight but it still does not zip and I am putting a corset in if it doesn't fit in the next 2 months, but I wish I had ordered one size up!

I would order the size you would currently fit into and have it altered down from there. I planned on losing weight but with stress think I started gaining but now I'm losing again this all makes no sense to me! But my dress fits (needs taken in a little) so that's the important part! lol
