Ordering bridesmainds dresses online (particularly thru Foxgown??)

The traits you have describe make it sound like a Chinese knock off site, so I would stay away from them. And looking at the website, it is definitely a Chinese knock off site -- I recognized one picture as a Justin Alexander dress, so they are definitely copying real designers.

No, but if they don't have a physical address or a contact phone number, it's most likely a Chinese knockoff site. In other words, stay away.

Are you looking online to save money? You can check out Target.com, they have bridesmaids dresses (my girls got theirs from them) for about $70 or less in a variety of styles and colors. If anyone has problems with them, they can be returned in store.

Not much info listed, but I would guess that they are another Chinese site. They are selling "knock-Off" or replica dresses... Would proceed with caution, lots of stories around about people having bad luck with those sites, although some people have had it work for them...

Also in order to get accreditied by the BBB, all you do is pay a fee. To me the BBB stuff doesn't mean much.

Thinking of getting bridesmaid dresses there, you can always try to buy one and if you dont like it you can return.

^ That is also a Chinese knock off site. The return policy is not like at a store where you just return it with a receipt -- they would try everything to make it look like you're fault (you measured wrong, you ordered wrong, etc.) as one of the girls in the posts I linked you to had happen.

@Lavinia, will you post pictures of the actual dress you received? It's great that you are happy with it, but I think brides should be aware of what they'll get before they order, if you are willing to vouch for the site.

It's a big risk. I love the dress on the site and didnt see anything that looks like it in any store..So I ordered early just to see if I'll like it or not. If I didnt, I could just return in and have some time to look for another one. The dress is really pretty in person, my 2 maid of honors, my mom-in-law and my aunt who used to own a bridal shop all love it. My aunt has the dress, I'll try to post pictures when she gets back.

Do NOT order from foxgown, it was the worst experience of my life. They are located in China, they do not speak english well, and there are 10 different people answering through the same email, so when you email them inquiring where your dress is it's a new person who answers and starts the whole process over again, this happened to me at least 10 times. I ordered bridesmaid dresses through them and it was painful, most of them were custom made to fit and they all came in to small, or in a completely different color or different style than ordered and they will not refund you. My wedding is in a month and they still haven't delivered one dress that they originally did incorrectly, that I have been back and forth with them on now for 8 months. I finally wrote them an email in chinese via google translate! Ugh!- if you want a stress free experience don't order from them!!

I ordered through Fox Gown and had an awful experience. Their customer service doesn't respond at all. When I received the dress, it did not look like the picture. When I e-mailed them about their return policy, they said I could not return the dress because there was "nothing wrong with it."

The website is a scam. Do not buy from them.

I am dealing with them right now. The dress did not fit, I measured correctly. There was also two red spots which they say I did. They won't honor a refund. They wanted photos, I sent them. They will not refund for mistakes. Avoid Foxgown.

Actually, my GF ordered a prom dress from them around 2 month ago, it is absolutely gorgeous! She wear it and looks like an angel !

They guys also send us some real wedding dress picture, let us know their quality.

I also had a terrible experience with Fox Gown. Still waiting for my refund. Mailed the dress back on December 1 2013 and as of today May 10 2014 , I have not received my refund and they have stopped communicating with me. I wish I had read the reviews here before ordering a dress from Fox Gowns. At least if I had kept the dress I could have worn it for a Halloween costume.

I would not recommend Foxgown as they are from China.

The dress was as shown on the picture. The size was good.

That Website was recommended to me by a friend who knows the owner, who happens to be a Swiss living in China. He handled my questions personally, his english and french were perfect. He mostly would take 24 hours to answer emails, maximum I had to wait was 48 hours.

The price is a few bucks more then other websites I visited, but they accompanied me from the order to the delivery, never letting me hang out to dry.

I am very satisfied.
