We’re doing open bar! Like a PP said, it was easier to do that than a wine and beer option with signature cocktails

I’m doing an open bar for four hours, one of which will be the cocktail hour. I love your ideas. I’m just not that creative. LOL

Can you share more on the liability piece? How would we be liable? Thanks in advance! This sounds like something I don’t know...

Well I guess it's going to be an open bar because I'm still going to have other kinds of Liquors they're just not tons I'm going to have me some Fireball tequila and Crown Royal so they have a couple more options I just don't want to go over $1,000 I'm having a hundred guests and the bar will be open for 5 hours the last hour I'm going to shut it down that way people can sober up and drink water LOL and I'm not letting people start drinking till dinner time which will be 6:30 but I am still going to stick to my two main signature drinks because one of them is already going to be pre-made in the dispenser which will make it easier for people just to get their self

We're getting a 4 hour open bar with just the basic beer wine and liquor. I think it's best for people to choose their own drinks

I just had my wedding yesterday and we had a option of beer and wine. Tje venue dont have a liquor license. So we choose SANGRIAS a white one and a red. The guests loved it and I had some to take home which is a plus for our honeymoon alil something to sip on. And doing that I saved alot.

You are only liable if you don’t have licensed bartenders serving the alcohol. If you have bartenders they are responsible for not over serving your guests and responsible if they do. There is nothing wrong with an open bar event as long as you have proper licensed bartenders serving.

Oh yes the bartender is definitely license but I know I couldn't get sued or anything I just have really bad conscience and if anything whatever happened I will feel horrible but then again they are adult station know what's their limits I am definitely thinking about putting on my invitation open bar Seoul they might want to wear out phrase it a different way LOL

You could have a open bar for however many drinks during these times then after that time is up it'll have to be a cash bar if your guests want alcohol drinks.

We'll be doing an open bar but we might also have signature drinks. Our caterer is providing the drinks but never mentioned if the signature drinks cost extra or anything. If it's included in our package we'll go with it. We just had our tasting yesterday so we haven't gotten a chance to look up any drinks we would want.

YESSSSS! We are doing an open bar. There is no better way to celebrate than to give away free liquor.
