Only ONE Pixie cut in the Short Hairstyle section?

And it IS adorable, but I was pretty bummed to see only one truly short haircut in the "short" section. As a woman who has rocked the pixie cut most her life and wishes more women would embrace this most feminine of cuts, I was sad to see it overlooked and to see short hair defined as "chin-length!"...

So, beautiful ladies with sexy short locks, what are your plans for your hair on your wedding day and/or what did you do with those sassy dos when you said "I do?" Tell me and let me see?

Me? I've a gorgeous sash I'm wearing as a headpiece in rhinestone leaf pave for our outdoor outdoor-themed wedding. It makes me feel like a woodland sprite!

There are a bunch of pixie cuts in the short hair section, I don't know where you're only seeing one.

I had a pixie cut all through high school. For prom my hair was just long enough to do a french braid on the side! It turned out really good.

I chopped my hair last year, I went very short in back and not even chin length in front. Been looking for hair ideas and there is almost nothing. I look for short hair styles and they are all shoulder length, that is not short people. For my wedding I decided to let it get longer in the back though.

I don't think what I have qualifies as pixie anymore, it's shaved all around and longer on the top. I feel very feminine with it, but I would never dare to qualify it as 'the most feminine cut'. I never really felt at ease with long hair, but I admire anybody that does.

Right now, I'm leaning towards a birdcage because it would go great with my dress too. I did find inspiration online, but I agree on seeing a lot of 'longer' hair when searching for short hair inspirations.

I'm desperately trying to grow mine out, and avoiding mirrors in the meantime.

If it's not touching your shoulders, it's short. Touching your shoulders to the end of the shoulder blades is medium. Longer than that is long.

There are fewer options for pixie styles because there's less to do with less hair.

It's great that you can rock a pixie haircut and you love it. But A) I wouldn't be as bold as to say it's the most feminine of cuts. By saying that it makes it seem like you are defending it and your femininity. I still have a very feminine haircut despite my hair being longer than yours. And B) If you can't pull your hair up in a pony tail then yes it is short. I cannot pull my hair up because I have a diagonal forward cut and as a result my options for wedding hair is pretty limited too.
